Helping people in real need through Education, Health and Community Development

Health Funds
Given several three decades of poor crisis readiness and retort in Haiti, it’s no surprise that healthcare concerns are rising in the country by the day. There’s a major gap between medical services demand and supply. There are no proper hospitals, and the public ones are in a severely deprived state, leaving people at high risk.
At ORGDH, our experience in helping Haiti victims has allowed us to gain immense support from our valued donors. We’re all about making a difference in this underdeveloped state by providing medical, education, and COVID-19 support.
Our volunteers are so brave and talented. They have conducted on-site donation programs in Haiti to help earthquake victims and sick people. From medicines and doctors to COVID-19 testing kits and facemasks, ORGDH is trying to ensure maximum healthcare aid provision.
Haiti’s Healthcare Condition—A Rising Concern
Statistics show that at least 70 people die in earthquake-afflicted Haitian areas every day. Only 60% of the total population has access to proper basic healthcare. Moreover, more than 75% of the deliveries are handled by unqualified, unlicensed personnel. These worrisome facts about the Haitian healthcare system intensify the need for emergency medical response.
This is where our disaster relief and COVID-19 relief for Haiti programs come in. People need to understand that Haitian kids, women, and men are deprived of basic food, shelter, and clothing provision. They require our support and undivided attention to cope with physical and mental challenges rising in the post-earthquake and post-pandemic era.
Haitian Have No Access to Hospitals
In these challenging times, due to insufficient financial and government support, many hospitals in Haiti have halted their operations. There’s also a severe lack of personnel and equipment to treat patients in the country. The emergency medical response has become a luxury, and sick patients are left untreated, making disease transmission an unsurmountable risk.
At ORGDH, we are raising funds to provide COVID-19 aid and medical supplies to support Haiti earthquake victims. Donate now!
